Cooking with Danielle Ellis

Danielle Ellis trained professionally over 4 months in France in 2014 after a career in Marketing. She has a passion for all types of bread and uses the techniques learned in France to make bread baking more simple and consistent.

Now based in Gloucestershire, she specialises training both online and in person. She’s also a food judge for the NFWI; World Bread Awards and Taste of the West.

Danielle is now teaching her Italian baking class! sharing her tips and tricks to the perfect Italian baking.

Italian Baking class-£20

Brand New Class

During this Italian baking class with Danielle live from her kitchen you will learn how to make two beautiful Italian yeasted delights you might not have come across before: Buccellato from Lucca a richly fruited bread with a smooth walnut filling and Baba Napolitano steeped in orange and rum. Both recipes make a fabulous addition to the seasonal table.

Livia is very good at giving the background of the recipe and very helpful at adapting to the available of ingredients. 


I really enjoyed Livia explaining why we do things a certain way – eg kneading the dough by hand rather than by machine. Although I’m an experienced cook, I always learn something with her.


Livia was a very relaxed and engaging teacher , made the whole event fun.
