Wet the appetite with this pre-dinner Italian phenomenon

What better way to spend your winter nights than joining this Italian aperitivo cooking class and learning all about the famous Italian Aperitivo. Livia will share with you what it is and how to enjoy it true Italian style. It was traditionally a light drink and meal at the end of a work day as a warm up to dinner and now it is quintessentially an expression of Italian culture. During this class, Livia will prepare four classic aperitivo recipes that will impress your friends at your next dinner party.

For our Puglia Aperitivo Classes in May Livia has selected some of her favourite dishes from her time spent in the region to inspire you. Come and join Livia and learn how to prepare Tarallini al Vino, Melanzane alla Tarantina & Pitta di Patate Salentina. All these dishes are enjoyed with a refreshing Rossini cocktail.

For our Summer Aperitivo Classes in May Livia has created a delicious menu to suit this time of year. Why not come and join Livia as she prepares her Insalata di farro con gamberetti, Pomodori ripieni and Fritelle di zucchine. As always, what better way to enjoy these dishes than with a refreshing Rossini cocktail.

This italian aperitivo cooking class is suitable for novices and enthusiasts to Italian cooking thanks to Livia’s teaching style and classic recipes.

What you’ll need:

If you are planning to cook along with Livia then the following equipment would be useful:

  • A wooden board
  • A rolling pin
  • A pasta cutter and/or a knife

In case you don’t have some of the items listed above, don’t worry, we can find an alternative.

Don’t forget to buy a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy a true Italian apertivo with your group.

Livia will transport you to the rolling hills of Bologna & Tuscany as well as delighting you with her top recipes from Puglia as she guides you through dishes such as Tortelli di Ortica and Lasagne di Zucchine.
