Develop and grow your Italian language skills with our Advanced Beginners Learn Italian level 2 course.
Course Outline
This course provides an opportunity for students to extend their existing knowledge of Italian in terms of topics, grammar and practice. In particular, students will revise the previous grammar focusing on prepositions, regular and irregular verbs, modal verbs and adverbs. At the same time students will learn how to combine different parts of speech into phrases, adding and extending more knowledge such as useful expressions, ways to say and colloquial words.
Students will increase their confidence in formulating and answering questions on different topics as well as joining conversations based on practical daily life situations and role play. Large part of the course will involve descriptions of places, regions, cities, people and situations.
Students will be introduced to the unique Italian Landscape and will have the opportunity to virtually travel in Italy, gaining information, looking at traditions, customs, food, culture, events. These will be starting points for conversations in a group or in pairs and in a friendly atmosphere. Additional material and homework will be provided.
By the end of the course students will have improved their confidence in approaching conversations, asking questions and giving answers in a more spontaneous way. Above all they will feel inspired and they will enjoy their virtual journey to Italy.
This Advanced beginners Learn Italian level 2 course is for students should have completed the Advanced Italian Beginner level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge of it.

Your Tutors
Francesca comes from a primary school teaching background in Italy. She’s been teaching Italian to adult learners in Edinburgh for over a decade. Francesca teaches our beginners, advanced beginners and intermediate classes, and is passionate about instilling confidence in her students as they progress through the course.
