Paint beautiful landscapes with Mark
Are you ready to see landscapes in a different light? Have you reached the peak of your confidence in tackling different landscapes? If so, this is a 3 session series that will reignite your passion for landscape painting.
In this landscape painting course Mark has developed a series of challenges where he will share all of the tips and techniques you need to overcome common frustrations and challenges students encounter when tackling complex landscapes.
Week 1 23rd February – Coastal Landscape
For the first session of this course Mark will be guiding you through coastal landscapes. As with much of coastal landscape painting it is constantly changing with the elements, tides and waves which can pose many challenges to students. Mark will share his top tips to help you capture your scene and bring to life what you are witnessing.
Week 2 02nd March – Rural / Farmland Landscape
In this weeks session the focus is on rural and farmland landscapes. Mark will be tackling some of the main challenges that students face when painting this type of landscape. You will learn how to create definition between light and colour in a step by step demonstration of a typical rural scene selected by Mark.
Week 3 16th March – Mountain Scene
To finish off the series Mark has chosen to focus on a mountain scene. Due to the varied environment and ever-changing nature of mountain scenes this is provides a great opportunity to cover many techniques to help you capture the subject. As the seasons change we can encounter snow topped peaks in the winter or lush green vegetation in the Summer, Mark will identify how to approach each of these scenes and successfully capture the essence.
