Join Susie Gale, part of the Flavours Pilates team, in this workshop, where different aspects of this low-impact form of exercise will be reviewed & explored. For those who are considering booking a Flavours Pilates holiday and are novices, this would be the perfect introduction. For those who have already been practising Pilates, this is an opportunity to refresh their knowledge, ready for the year ahead!  Remember this is a maintenance programme that can be used throughout one’s life. 

Susie says: ‘There is no age barrier – I always tell clients that they are investing in a maintenance programme keeping them supple and mobile throughout their lives.  It’s fun too!

What you’ll learn:

This session will look at the main principles of Pilates including breathing; alignment & neutral spine & pelvis as well as being guided through basic exercises

What you’ll need:

Our Pilates instructors advise that you have a mat/towel to lie on, with a small cushion for your head.  Ensure that you have enough room to stretch your arms & legs out.

Susie Gale worked in a stressful marketing job and was constantly plagued with back and neck pain. It was suggested that she try practising Pilates. From the outset she was hooked and became such an avid student, she dropped out of the corporate world and retrained as a Body Control Pilates teacher, at one of the foremost ‘schools’ of Pilates.

Joining our online classes

Our online classes will take place via Zoom. We’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible to make it easier for you to take part. Upon booking your class, you will receive an email confirmation with full details of how to join and your link to the Zoom class.
