Fauve Expressionist Travelling series with Mark

beginning Tuesday 16th January @ 3.30 pm price £50 for a block of 4.

A series of workshops using the Fauve style to explore 4 landscapes from Flavours art trip locations. Mark will lead us through step by step using this style to create our own interpretations. 

This course is suitable for beginners and improvers who would like to learn to paint landscapes in this colour-based style.

What you’ll need:

If you plan to paint along our tutor suggests that you have:

  • A4 watercolour paper 300gsm
  • Masking tape
  • Fine liner drawing pen – 0.5mm or 0.7mm
  • a selection of watercolours and brushes.

You can also just watch and take notes to inspire you later, the choice is yours.

Mark Holden is a professional artist who has exhibited his works in galleries across Scotland. He takes on private art projects commissioned by clients across Europe. Mark works with oils, acrylics, and watercolours, with a wide-ranging focus on landscapes, classic cars, and skiing.
