Cook with Jilly McCord
Jilly McCord, originally from Langholm in the Scottish borders, has had a passion for cooking throughout her life, but took the plunge and entered MasterChef UK in 2019. Jilly was runner-up in the competition and since then has expanded her culinary experiences: appearing at festivals; working with national brands; holding supper clubs; and offering her services as a private chef.
Bake with Jane Curran
For over 20 years now Jane Curran has worked for some of the UK’s biggest media brands, creating food content tailored to ABC1 audiences.
Having worked in fast-paced, industry-leading restaurants and studied at Leiths School of Food and Wine, she has a solid grounding in the technical, classical elements of cookery as well as having an understanding of what people are looking for from food.
Cook with Louise Macdonald
Louise MacDonald is based in Highland Perthshire, she is our chef on our staycations and our guests love her traditional cooking and baking. Louise has many years of experience and her enjoyment of Seasonal Cooking for groups has led her to take it up professionally. Louise loves sharing her recipes- she uses the best of local ingredients to create delicious Scottish dishes.

Learn Painting with Douglas Matthews
Douglas is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art (Drawing & Painting) and has been teaching art to adults and secondary school pupils both in the UK and the Middle East since he graduated. For 16 years he was the water colour tutor at the Holyrood Art Club in Edinburgh and has run private painting groups at his home since his return to Scotland in 2000.
Learn Painting with Mark Holden
Mark Holden is a professional artist who has exhibited his works in galleries across Scotland. He takes on private art projects commissioned by clients across Europe. Mark works with oils, acrylics and watercolours, with a wide-ranging focus on landscapes, classic cars and skiing.
Learn Painting with Jaclyn Stuart
Jaclyn Stuart is an artist who works in St Andrews Scotland. She graduated from Grays School of Art with a BA Hons in Fine Art in 2000. She has taught art in many establishments including lecturing in Further Education. She now runs her own teaching business in St Andrews along with making and selling her own artwork. She works in watercolour, acrylics, oils and inks.
Learn Painting with Sophie McKay Knight
Sophie McKay Knight graduated from Edinburgh College of Art and University in 1997 and has been a professional artist ever since, exhibiting throughout the UK and abroad. Her work explores the human condition and she is inspired by nature, science, stories, and magic. Her recent work explores the sea, how the light changes, and a sense of place.

Italian with Carlo Lenoci
Carlo is an Italian linguistics and philology graduate of the University of Milan and has taught Italian in a number of language schools in Edinburgh. Carlo teaches our beginners and intermediates classes and focuses on teaching you to speak like a native Italian. You’ll find yourself immersed in conversation as your confidence grows.

Pilates with Sharon O’Hanlon
Sharon has been teaching Pilates since 2008. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years as well as being a holistic therapist and trainer. As a Reiki Master she loves to meditate daily and would love you to join in.
Pilates with Jackie Lindsay
This course concentrates on all things to do with the pelvic floor. It will take you through from explaining why it is so important to protect and strengthen it to giving you exercises to ensure you have a healthy and strong pelvic floor.
