Pilates challenge with Ruth

Dive into the New Year with this 6-week Pilates Challenge. Your teacher, Ruth Partington, aims to challenge your strength, stability, and control by gradually adding intensity, pace, and flow to each class. We’ll have a different focus each week, using optional balls and bands to keep things interesting. To get the most out of this course you should ideally have a good understanding of the basic Pilates principles (this course is not suitable for complete beginners). Get ready for an inspiring, energising, full-body challenge!’

What you’ll need:

  • a mat
  • comfortable clothing
  • optional Pilates ball and band

Your Tutor

Ruth Partington in pose

Ruth Partington initially trained as a nurse in London, before moving into the fitness industry, qualifying in gym instruction, exercise to music, and personal training. She’s also worked in health club management and instructor education.

Ruth has been teaching Pilates for over 20 years, qualifying with Body Control Pilates® in 2003.

Joining our online classes

Our online classes will take place via Zoom. We’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible to make it easier for you to take part. Upon booking your class, you will receive an email confirmation with full details of how to join and your link to the Zoom class.

Our evening wind down Pilates class with gentle relaxing Pilates exercises will help alleviate what the day has thrown at us emptying our minds and releasing tension.

Pilates with Jackie Lindsay

This course concentrates on all things to do with the pelvic floor. It will take you through from explaining why it is so important to protect and strengthen it to giving you exercises to ensure you have a healthy and strong pelvic floor.
