It’s MasterChef time!

MasterChef finalist, Jilly McCord wowed the judges with her creative take on classic dishes and in her MasterChef cooking class this is no exception. In the first of her live classes, Jilly will be preparing a Scottish seafood menu with an Asian twist with her Crispy Thai Sea Bass and her Coconut Prawns.

Jilly will be live from Flavours head office kitchen in Edinburgh cooking her favourite dishes and chatting about her experience on MasterChef. The best of Scottish produce is at the heart of Jilly’s recipes, but she uses flavours from all over the world in her dishes.

This MasterChef cooking class is ideal for both those foodies wanting to cooking along and those who want to watch and get tips to try at their leisure on their own

What you’ll need:

This is a cooking demonstration so all you need is to get comfortable, bring along your cup of tea or glass of wine and don’t forget your notepad to take notes for you to try these top tips at your leisure

Your chef

Jilly McCord, originally from Langholm in the Scottish borders, has had a passion for cooking throughout her life, but took the plunge and entered MasterChef UK in 2019. Jilly was runner up in the competition and since then has expanded her culinary experiences: appearing at festivals; working with national brands; holding supper clubs; and offering her services as a private chef. She is a full-time teacher of History and Politics, but uses every spare minute creating new recipes and pursuing her love of food. She was also a Scottish rugby internationalist, appearing 47 times for Scotland and captaining her country in the Six Nations Championship.

Our ‘live’ classes will take place via Zoom. We’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible to make it easier for you to take part. Upon booking your class, you will receive an email confirmation with full details of how to join and your link to the zoom class.
