Develop your Pilates practice with weights and balance
At any age and fitness level Pilates will improve your posture, mobility, flexibility, core strength. This Pilates class adding weights and balance is suitable for all levels and focuses on using weights to build your balance and core strength. You’ll be guided through stretches and mobility work with weights.
What you’ll learn:
- Learn classical Pilates exercises created by Joseph Pilates
- Core Pilates exercises using weights and developing your balance
- To take a full practice at your own pace
What you’ll need:
Our Pilates Instructors would advise you to wear comfortable clothing, have a mat or a towel to lie on and space to stretch out. Weights or tins or filled water bottles would be advisable for you to take part in his Pilates class adding weights and balance.
Eleanor Crossland is a Level 3 Body Control Pilates teacher, focusing on the benefits of non-impact exercise to strengthen and tone the body. Ele shares her passion for Pilates with both new and experienced learners, and takes pleasure in teaching people to develop their strength, confidence and enthusiasm through workouts.
Mandy Parr is an experienced Body Control Pilates instructor and a firm believer in incorporating Pilates into your daily routine so it becomes your way of life! She’s been teaching Pilates since 2003, and is trained in Intermediate and Advanced Matwork.
Joining our live classes
Our ‘live’ classes will take place via Zoom. We’d recommend using a laptop or desktop if possible to make it easier for you to take part. Upon booking your class, you will receive an email confirmation with full details of how to join and your link to the zoom class.
